International law firm Simmons & Simmons has appointed Simon Ratledge as a Projects partner in its Paris office.
Simon, who joins from Linklaters in Paris, is personally ranked in tier 1 in Chambers Global in the category of International Projects in France and is also described as one of the top lawyers for natural resources projects in French-speaking Africa.
He has been involved in a broad range of major international projects and project financings in Algeria, Tunisia and Morocco, and francophone Africa, across areas including power, mining, petrochemicals, oil & gas, and water treatment. Simon has also advised on a number of landmark infrastructure and PPP projects in France and the UK.
Simon is both an avocat a la cour de Paris and a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England & Wales, and speaks English, French and German.
