Michael Baniak Joins Seyfarth Shaw Chicago

Michael Baniak, an experienced intellectual property partner, has been recruited by Seyfarth Shaw, according to the firm’s press release. The Chicago attorney brings significant experience in IP litigation covering patent, trademark, and copyright trials.

Brian Michaelis,chair of the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group, stated: “Mike brings his sophisticated and accomplished IP practice to the firm and adds a very broad litigation background and successful track record. With more than 30 years of experience, Mike is an important addition to the group as we continue expanding our IP practice.”

Baniak is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Law and the University of Dayton. He joins Seyfarth from McDonnell Boehnen Hulbert & Berghoff LLP.
