On August 7, 2012, a team of Jenner & Block attorneys closed a $300 million international secured letter of credit facility provided by Citibank, N.A. and its affiliates in 42 foreign countries to General Motors Holdings LLC and its domestic and foreign subsidiaries.
The project involved a uniquely structured global facility and required coordinated review and closings in numerous countries. The Firm’s team was led by Partner Brian S. Hart and Associate Anna Barreiro Sutti, with assistance from Partner Carter H. Klein on letter of credit issues and tax advice from Partner Geoffrey M. Davis and Associate Donald E. Goff, Jr.
