Franco Lambertenghi Joins Jones Day as Energy Practice Partner in Milan

Jones Day is pleased to welcome Franco Lambertenghi as a new partner in the Firm’s Energy Practice in Milan.

Franco’s practice concentrates on energy deals and energy-related contracts, financing and disputes, with a special focus on oil and gas. He also acts on various infrastructure, project finance, and export finance transactions.

Franco advises clients on a wide range of commercial and corporate-law matters, combining in-depth industry-sector knowledge with advanced project finance and dispute resolution skills. In particular, he provides advice in developing new projects and negotiating and drafting a diverse range of complex agreements with oil and gas companies and financial institutions, including joint ventures, various types of co-operations, consortia, acquisitions and divestitures, finance structuring, incorporation of limited liability companies, restructuring, and debt restructuring.

Before joining Jones Day, Franco worked at Chiomenti Studio Legale since 2004. Before that, he held various in-house roles with Eni S.p.A. in Milan and in London.
