Maritime and Energy Leader Wylie Spicer Joins Norton Rose Canada

Norton Rose Canada announced today that maritime law and energy lawyer Wylie Spicer, Q.C., has joined the firm. Wylie has more than 30 years experience in all aspects of the offshore energy industry and is a recognized authority on Arctic law. He will be based in our Calgary office where he will focus on serving the firm’s energy clients.

Prior to joining Norton Rose Canada, Wylie was practising in the Halifax office of one of Atlantic Canada’s leading law firms, where he was managing partner from 2001-2006. In 2006, Wylie was recognized as one of Atlantic Business Magazine’s Top 50 CEO award winners. An immediate past president of the Canadian Bar Association for Nova Scotia and member of the Canadian Maritime Law Association, Wylie has published extensively in the maritime aspects of offshore oil and gas development.
