Weingart has rejoined the firm’s Business Division as a Member of the Corporate and Business Counseling practice as well as the Hospitality Law Group, effective July 1, 2012. He is based in the firm’s Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania office. Weingart previously practiced for 20 years with Eckert Seamans from 1989-2009, and returns to the firm after spending more than two years at FFC Capital Corporation as Vice President and General Counsel.
Weingart has extensive experience in all areas of corporate law, particularly mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance, having represented buyers and sellers in transactions of a wide variety of structures and sizes for more than 25 years. He has represented both privately and publicly-held clients involved in complex domestic and international transactions, as well as various other corporate and securities matters such as restructurings, financings and public and private offerings of equity and debt securities. Weingart also provides general business counseling to many clients in such areas as the formation and administration of corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships, joint ventures and other entities. He has represented clients in a wide range of business fields and industries, including extensive experience in the hospitality industry.
