Simmons & Simmons Advises Crédit Agricole On €800m Asset-backed Securities Deal

International law firm Simmons & Simmons advised Crédit Agricole Corporate Investment Bank (CA-CIB) on the structuring of an asset-backed securities collateralised by auto loans originated in Italy by RCI Banque SA, a bank group of French automaker Renault S.A.

CA-CIB, the investment bank of Credit Agricole, acted as the arranger of the transaction.

Simmons & Simmons advised on Italian and French law aspects of the deal. Partners Vinicio Trombetti and Michele Citarella led the team advising CA-CIB. The team included senior associates Giulia Arenaccio and Luisella Quadrelli, and Riccardo Franceschelli and Francesca Naccarato. Colin Millar and Katia Merlini led from the Paris office.
