Polsinelli Shughart welcomes Dwayne A. Fulk as shareholder who will focus on business, real estate, technology and international law matters. Fulk represents clients ranging from individuals to corporations in a wide variety of industries including technology, manufacturing and tourism.

Highly experienced in his field, Fulk concentrates on business and real estate transactions with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, real estate finance and development, franchise and distribution, international transactions, entity formation and start-up, bank lending (representing either the bank or the borrower) and software development and licensing. Fulk has represented many family-owned businesses, including in succession and transition planning and implementation for their owners and management.

Fulk earned his law degree and an LL.M. in international and comparative law from Duke University School of Law, and earned his bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, from Missouri State University in International Affairs. He studied in London, England as part of his undergraduate studies and in Brussels, Belgium for his LL.M. He is a member of the American Bar Association, The Missouri Bar and the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association. Deeply committed to the community, Fulk has served in a wide variety of leadership roles including as president of the Greater Ozarks Chapter of the American Red Cross, Kingswood Preschool and Kindergarten, Leadership Springfield, Inc., Rotaract Club of Springfield and Springfield’s Best, Inc., and as a member of the boards of directors of the Greater Ozarks International Trade Association, Missouri Paralegal Association, Rotary Club of Springfield, Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association, Safety Council of the Ozarks, Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce, Foundation for Springfield Public Schools and Springfield’s Best Foundation, Inc.
Fulk has taught courses as an adjunct professor in political science, business law, and other areas, and is a frequent speaker on legal issues of nonprofit board service, alternative financing arrangements, international trade, business and real estate contracting, intellectual property, and land use and zoning.
