White & Cases Advises Dexia on €2.8 Billion DenizBank Sale to Sberbank

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Dexia on the €2.8 billion sale of its DenizBank unit to Russia’s Sberbank. DenizBank is Turkey’s sixth-largest private sector bank, and the deal includes the bank’s subsidiaries in Turkey, Austria and Russia.

Subject to regulatory approval, the transaction is targeted to close in the fourth quarter of 2012.
