Global law firm White & Case LLP is strengthening its Global Project Finance capabilities in Düsseldorf, Germany, with the addition of Dr. Jan-Holger Arndt as partner. Dr. Arndt will focus on advising financial investors, primarily in conjunction with German and international project finance and asset finance transactions. He will also advise on restructurings.
Dr. Arndt joins White & Case from Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP, where he began his legal career in 1998. He has been in Düsseldorf since 2003 advising on complex project and asset financings.
“With his many years of experience in the structuring and restructuring of domestic and international financing projects, Dr. Arndt is an invaluable addition to our team,” explained Markus Hauptmann, Regional Section Head for White & Case Germany. “His legal and financial expertise in the aircraft, ship and renewable energy sectors will be of particular benefit to our clients.”
Dr. Arndt is well-known in Germany for his work with complex closed-end fund structures. Many of the deals he has advised on have been recognized by Marine Money as “Restructuring Deal of the Year”, and he appeared on Lloyd’s List Top Ten-Law in 2010.
