Mr. Wine has extensive experience in representing a wide range of government contractors and other businesses in highly-regulated industries with a focus on civil litigation, compliance, and client counseling. His clients include start-ups to Fortune 50 companies in the defense, health care, research & development, security and infrastructure, and information technology industries. He has special expertise in investigations and alleged violations of the False Claims Act, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and defective pricing and export licensing matters. Mr. Wine is a first chair trial lawyer with extensive experience in litigation and internal investigations as well as counseling, including developing and implementing compliance programs, conducting management and key personnel training, and settlement negotiation.

“Brad is an outstanding government contracts lawyer and a great addition to our expanding Government Contracts practice,” said Rick Vacura, Co-Chair of the firm’s Government Contracts Group. “Our Group was honored to be named by Law360 as its 2012 Government Contracts Practice Group of the Year. We look forward to building on that achievement with Brad to help our clients address their toughest government contracts issues.”

Grant Esposito, Co-Chair of the firm’s Litigation Department, added, “The government procurement process is complex and intensely regulated. With more companies doing business with the government, we are expanding our Government Contracts practice with a core of attorneys with proven capabilities in litigation, investigations, and compliance. Brad is a perfect fit for us.”

“We continue to see very strong M&A activity in the federal sector,” said Larry Yanowitch, co-chair of the firm’s Global Mergers & Acquisitions Group. “Brad’s complement of skills expands our government contract transactional and due diligence capabilities and will be particularly helpful in cross-border M&A transactions.”

“False Claims Act, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and corporate compliance matters are top of mind for virtually all corporate legal departments of companies with global operations,” said Morrison & Foerster’s Chair, Keith Wetmore. “We’re excited to offer Brad’s expertise to our clients.”

Mr. Wine said he was attracted to Morrison & Foerster by its global reach, reputation as a top-tier firm, and incredibly talented lawyers. “Government contracts work regularly overlaps with other areas of the law, including intellectual property, antitrust, M&A, labor, corporate, and appellate. These are all areas in which MoFo excels. I look forward to playing a significant role in the growth of the Government Contracts practice.”

Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Mr. Wine was a partner and administrative head in the Government Law and Strategy practice at Dickstein Shapiro LLP in Washington, D.C.
