Expanding its Intellectual Property Department in the nation’s capital, Fox Rothschild LLP welcomes partner Jeff E. Schwartz to its Washington, DC office.
“We are delighted to welcome Jeff and his extensive knowledge of intellectual property law to our growing presence here in DC,” said Dirk D. Haire, office managing partner. “His arrival will strengthen our already deepened intellectual property department throughout our national network of offices.”
Schwartz has extensive experience litigating patent infringement cases involving materials science, mechanical, electrical and software solutions as well as trademark infringement, trade secret, domain name and contract disputes.
Schwartz also counsels clients through intellectual property issues that arise in government contracts, antitrust and FDA laws. His experience in technology and patent procurement includes mechanical systems, medical devices, electrical systems and software.
Prior to his legal career, Schwartz was on active duty in the U.S. Army. He retired from the U.S. Army Reserves as a Lieutenant Colonel. He also worked as a senior project engineer for Hercules Aerospace and as an engineering manager with the Department of the Navy.
