Greenberg Traurig Continues to Grow its Labor and Employment Practice in New Jersey with Addition of Shareholder Robert H. Bernstein

The international law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP announced that Robert H. Bernstein has joined its New Jersey office as a shareholder in the Labor & Employment Practice.

Bernstein is the sixth labor and employment attorney to join Greenberg Traurig’s New Jersey office in recent months. His addition follows on the heels of shareholders Wendy Johnson Lario, who chairs the New Jersey Labor & Employment Practice, and Kristine Feher; of counsels Kristy Grazioso and Micala Campbell Robinson; and associate Patricia Morgan.

Bernstein focuses his practice on labor and employment issues exclusively for management, with an emphasis in litigation and counseling. He represents multinational and domestic corporations in a wide range of industries. Bernstein’s practice extends to numerous jurisdictions across the United States involving most workplace issues, including class and collective actions, and trade secret litigation. He is a member of the LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell Legal Advisory Board and chair of the board’s Labor and Employment subcommittee. Bernstein has been selected for inclusion in the National Registry of Who’s Who and frequently lectures and writes about employment law issues.

“I have known Rob for 15 years. We are pleased to welcome him to the New Jersey office. His proven track record of leadership will be a great asset to us and our clients,” said Philip R. Sellinger, managing shareholder of the New Jersey office.

“The labor and employment team is thrilled to have the opportunity to work alongside him,” added Johnson Lario. “He will be a great addition as we continue to build Greenberg Traurig’s Labor & Employment Practice in New Jersey with our practical, results-driven and cost-effective approach.”

Bernstein holds a J.D. and a B.S.F.S., with honors, from Georgetown University.

Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig, Bernstein was head of Constangy Brooks & Smith, LLP’s Princeton office, where he was a partner.
