The Paris office of international law firm Eversheds has appointed French IP/IT law expert Gaëtan Cordier as a Partner to lead the Paris IP/IT team.
Gaëtan specialises in both litigation and transactional IP/IT matters for all the major disciplines, such as patents, copyright, trademarks, domain names, unfair competition and privacy issues. He also advises on IP/IT support in the context of M&A and joint ventures. Gaëtan is distinguished for his work in intellectual property by the independent guides Legal 500 France and Legal 500 EMEA.
His clients consist of large multinational companies across a number of industries including online, large-scale and luxury retailing, medical devices and technology sectors.
Gaëtan began his career at the Paris offices of Freshfields, Paul Hastings and Herbert Smith. He then joined Dewey & LeBoeuf in 2008, where he headed the IP/IT practice for four years. In his new role at Eversheds Paris, Gaëtan will develop the existing IP/IT practice, in liaison with Eversheds’ UK and international offices.
