Faegre Baker Daniels, a leading international law firm with offices in Denver and Boulder, today announced that it has added Robert B. Anderson, Trygve E. Kjellsen and Charles Bybee as partners and James Crowe as an associate. All four attorneys are part of the firm’s Corporate practice and are located in Denver.

Robert B. Anderson
Mr. Anderson joins Faegre Baker Daniels from the San Francisco office of Foley & Lardner, where he represented clients on finance and project development matters, including those involving both traditional power projects and renewable energy projects such as wind, solar, biofuel and waste-to-energy facilities.
In addition to being a member of Faegre Baker Daniel’s Corporate practice, Mr. Anderson will lead the renewable energy section of the firm’s Energy, Resources & Clean Tech industry group. Prior to joining Foley & Lardner, Mr. Anderson was a partner at Nixon Peabody, and he earned his J.D. degree from the University of California’s Hastings College of Law and his bachelor’s degree (cum laude) from Duke University.
Trygve E. Kjellsen
Mr. Kjellsen joins Faegre Baker Daniels from the Denver office of Lathrop Gage, where he managed a full range of corporate and securities work – including mergers and acquisitions, complex strategic alliances and joint ventures – for clients nationally and internationally.
Prior to joining Lathrop Gage, Mr. Kjellsen was counsel for First Data Corporation, where he advised the company on regulatory issues, general corporate matters and strategic planning. He earned his J.D. degree from Rutgers University School of Law and his bachelor’s degree (cum laude) Truman State University.
Charles Bybee
Mr. Bybee joins Faegre Baker Daniels from the Denver office of Lathrop Gage, where he counseled clients on business and tax planning issues for corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies and hybrid entities. Mr. Bybee’s experience also includes working with private and public companies on a variety of federal tax income issues related to mergers and acquisitions, spin-offs, roll-ups, joint ventures, financings, leasing transactions, stock option plans and executive compensation issues.
Mr. Bybee earned his J.D. degree (with honors) from the University of Texas School of Law and his bachelor’s degree (summa cum laude) from Texas A&M University.
James Crowe
Mr. Crowe joins Faegre Baker Daniels from the Denver office of Lathrop Gage, where he practiced in the firm’s Corporate department. Prior to joining Lathrop & Gage, he was a corporate and financial services attorney at Willkie Farr & Gallagher in New York City. Mr. Crowe earned his J.D. degree from the University of Colorado School of Law and his bachelor’s degree from Santa Clara University.
