Business litigation has been a core practice at Womble Carlyle for more than a century, and the firm’s business litigation practice is now stronger with the addition of experienced litigators Jay Silver, Betsy Lanzen, Ray Bennett and Marina Carreker to the firm’s Raleigh office.
Silver was the first to join Womble Carlyle, moving to the firm in late January along with experienced M&A attorneys Lisa Dixon and Dorinda Peacock. Now, Lanzen, Bennett and Carreker are joining him, reuniting a team that previously practiced together at Kilpatrick Townsend.
“I am pleased that we can continue to serve our clients as a team,” Silver said. “With over 200 litigation lawyers, Womble Carlyle’s litigation practice offers our clients extraordinary depth and sophistication. The firm’s litigation support services, such as e-discovery, case management, trial consulting and graphics, are unparalleled. Our clients will benefit from all that Womble Carlyle has to offer.”
