Sidley Expands in London with the Addition of Corporate Partner Stephen Blackshaw

Sidley Austin LLP is pleased to announce that Stephen Blackshaw is joining the firm’s London office as a partner. Mr. Blackshaw focuses on mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings and other general corporate work, including restructuring and insolvencies.

Prior to joining Sidley, Mr. Blackshaw was the head of a corporate group in the London office of a Magic Circle firm from 2006 through 2011. Fluent in English, German and Dutch, Mr. Blackshaw earned his LLB from the University of Exeter, which included a year-long study programme in Germany at Saarbrücken University. He is a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales.
