International law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has advised Gas Natural Capital Markets, S.A., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Spanish Ibex-35 company, Gas Natural SDG, S.A., on an issue of new notes with an aggregate principal amount of EUR 750 million under its EUR 12,000 million EMTN programme guaranteed by Gas Natural SDG, S.A.

The new notes were issued on 13 February 2012 and are listed on the London Stock Exchange.

Freshfields’ team advising on the deal included partner Ana López, senior associate James Pointon, associate Joe Amann and trainee solicitor Katrina Woolcock (all based in Madrid).
