Orrick Announces Four New Partners in London

Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP has added four partners in the firm’s London office. Stephanie Bates, formerly of Mayer Brown, joins Orrick’s Equity Capital Markets practice. Anthony Riley, formerly of Norton Rose, joins the firm’s M&A and Private Equity practice. Matthew Lawson and Simon Willis, formerly of Mayer Brown, join Orrick’s Commercial Litigation practice.

These moves follow the arrival of Sam Millar and Tony Katz, who joined the firm from Liquid Capital Group to head the London offices’ financial institution litigation and regulatory practice.  This fall, the firm also added a five-partner acquisition finance team in New York from Milbank Tweed, Cadwalader, Shearman & Sterling and Barclays Capital, and an energy regulatory team in Washington, D.C., from Chadbourne & Parke.
