Simmons & Simmons has advised Gilde Healthcare Services on the investments in Dutch occupational health company VerzuimReductie BV and Dutch physiotherapy chain Fysius Back Clinics BV.

Fysius Back Clinics BV is a national provider of physiotherapy and is specialised in back pain treatments. The company currently has 13 clinics in The Netherlands and has ambitious growth plans. Gilde Healthcare Services foresees a bright future for specialised clinics as primary care providers are often more cost effective than hospitals.

VerzuimReductie BV assists companies in management of employee absenteeism. The company has reported a consistent annual growth of 20% over the past years. Gilde Healthcare Services will support future growth with this major investment by providing the company with additional capital and access to its network.
