DeCotiis, FitzPatrick & Cole Welcomes Jonathan O. Bauer to the Firm

DeCotiis, FitzPatrick & Cole is proud to announce that Jonathan O. Bauer will be joining the firm on Tuesday, January 3rd as a Contract Partner.

Jonathan brings more than twenty years of legal experience to the firm and will be a welcome addition to the firm’s litigation practice. He has extensive experience in commercial litigation and insurance law and is knowledgeable in technology licensing, regulatory matters and corporate governance. 
Over the course of his career, Jonathan was in house counsel for a large investment bank where he focused on software licensing and intellectual property issues and was a commercial litigator and a Shareholder at Anderson Kill & Olick, P.C. for over ten years. He has also served as Panel Chair for the District V-A Ethics Committee. 
Jonathan received his bachelor of arts from St. John’s College, Annapolis, MD, and was awarded the Rutgers University Edward Bloustein Fellowship for law school and graduate school. He received his JD from Rutgers University School of Law in Newark, along with his masters degree in Philosophy. 
Jonathan is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey and is proficient in both Spanish and German.
