DLA Piper today announces the appointment of Tom Kerr Williams as a partner within its Employment, Pensions & Benefits practice in London. Tom joins the firm from Baker & McKenzie, where he was a senior associate in the Employment team.
Tom has broad experience in advising clients on the full range of premium employment work areas including international restructuring, cross border outsourcing, industrial relations, executive recruitment and severance, corporate governance and high value litigation including discrimination and whistleblowing. Tom brings additional expertise in both industrial relations disputes and financial services.
Prior to joining DLA Piper Tom spent ten years at Baker & McKenzie, the firm at which he trained. During that time, Tom worked with a wide range of clients, with a particular focus on the financial services sector, having acted for major commercial and investment banks and world leading brokerage firms and fund managers. Tom also has extensive experience of the management and execution of large international assignments and has managed client relationships on an international basis.
