Perkins Coie Adds a Real Estate Partner in Chicago

Perkins Coie announced today that Matthew Shebuski has joined the firm as partner in the Real Estate practice. He joins the firm in Chicago where he previously served as counsel at Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom LLP.

Shebuski will continue to service clients across the full range of real estate transactions and his practice will include real estate finance and development, acquisitions, dispositions, hotel management, leasing, loan workouts and related matters. He has represented clients in a broad variety of real estate, corporate and financing transactions, including asset acquisitions and dispositions, securitized financings, leasing and property management in retail, hotel, energy, manufacturing, natural resources and other industries. 
Shebuski earned both his J.D., cum laude, and his B.B.A., with high distinction, from the University of Michigan. 
Shebuski joins Perkins Coie’s national Real Estate practice which provides clients with comprehensive services encompassing the full range of commercial real estate and development issues. In addition to representing clients in restructurings and workouts, the team has experience handling a wide variety of projects, including resort hotels, golf course and housing developments, mixed use projects, shopping centers, corporate campuses, retirement communities, industrial facilities and public/private developments.
