The Paris office of international law firm Salans reinforces its Private Equity team with the arrival of Pierre Jouglard, Emmanuel Scialom and Anne Quenedey.
Pierre Jouglard has specialised for more than 20 years in private equity, corporate and M&A. Before joining Salans, he was the founding partner of Cabinet Orsay (1995), a partner with Nomos, a co-founding partner of Intuity (2004) and a partner with SNR Denton (2008 – 2011). He was admitted to the Paris Bar in 1992 and holds a Masters in international law from the University Paris XI (1984) and an M.A in Business Law from the University Paris I (1983). He is accompanied by an associate, Karine Violeau.
Emmanuel Scialom specialises in Private Equity, M&A, and corporate finance, and more particularly in large-cap and mid-cap LMBO. Before joining Salans, he was a partner with Willkie Farr & Gallagher. He was admitted to the Paris Bar in 1997 and holds a DEA from the University Paris II (1997) and a diploma from HEC, majoring in finance (1995).
Anne Quenedey specialises in corporate taxation and has considerable experience in handling M&A, restructuring operations, joint ventures and LBO with a strong tax flavour for both French and international groups. Before joining Salans, Anne was a partner in charge of the tax department with Bird & Bird Paris and co-director of Bird & Bird’s international tax group.
With the arrival these new partners, accompanied by four senior associates, the PE Group of the Salans Paris office is now composed of 7 partners and 12 associates.
