Shearman & Sterling Advises Dow Chemical on $20 Billion Joint Venture with Saudi Aramco

Shearman & Sterling is representing longstanding client The Dow Chemical Company in its joint venture with Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi Aramco) to build a $20 billion petrochemical plant at the Persian Gulf port of Jubail.

The project—Sadara Chemical Company—will be one of the world’s largest integrated chemical facilities and the largest ever built in one single phase.
