Alston & Bird is representing the Beverly Hills Unified School District in its dispute with the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) over a proposed subway tunnel that would run beneath Beverly Hills High School and the district offices.
The firm’s team is led by Mark Rochefort of the Los Angeles office. “We’re going to look hard at whether the MTA has done the appropriate job to assess the risks associated with that subway location,” Rochefort said in an article appearing in the Beverly Hills Courier.
