Weil Represents GE Energy in $520 Million Acquisition of Lineage Power

Weil, Gotshal and Manges LLP represented General Electric Co. in its $520 million acquisition of Lineage Power Holdings Inc. from private equity firm Gores Group LLC.

Lineage designs and builds power supplies for the telecommunications and data networking industries and offers equipment that converts power to direct current from alternating current, as well as power-module and data-center systems in the $20 billion micro-power industry. Lineage’s technology helps power cloud computing, data storage and wireless networks that support smartphones, pad computers, e-book readers, and various other consumer electronic devices.
