Mayer Brown JSM, a leading global law firm, is pleased to announce that it acted for Trinity Limited in its acquisition of Cerruti Holdings for a total consideration of not more than €52.58 million (HK$538.9 million).

The acquisition was announced on December 22, 2010 by Chinese clothing retailer Trinity. Mayer Brown JSM assisted Trinity in the formulation of the transaction structure and advised on the related Listing Rules compliance requirements.

The Cerruti brand, an international brand name for luxury menswear apparels, was founded in Italy in 1881.

The Mayer Brown JSM team was led by partners Patrick Wong and Derek Tsang.
