Nelson Mullins Team Assists in Ericsson-Optimi Deal

An Atlanta-based team of Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough attorneys recently represented Optimi, a U.S.-Spanish telecommunications vendor of networks optimization and management products and services, in its sale to Ericsson, a world-leading provider of telecommunications equipment and related services to mobile and fixed network operators globally.

Atlanta partner Michael Rubinger and associate Sarah Loya handled the M&A aspect of the transaction, while Atlanta partner Charles Vaughn and associate Steve Park handled the securities aspects. Atlanta partner Kathy Solley advised on employee benefits matters, and Atlanta partner Paul Cox handled the tax aspects.
The acquisition brings Ericsson approximately 200 highly skilled professionals from Optimi  and a complete portfolio of services and tools. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
