Avedis Zildjian Co., a Norwell, MA–based and world-renowned manufacturer of cymbals, has completed its merger with the business of Vic Firth, Inc., and Vic Firth Manufacturing, Inc. (“Vic Firth”), a Massachusetts-based, world-renowned manufacturer and distributor of drumsticks, percussion sticks, mallets, peppermills, salt mills, and rolling pins.
Both New England–based, family-owned companies are well-respected legacy brands and market leaders in the music industry with a long tradition of product quality and innovation. The Nixon Peabody LLP team, who advised the Zildjian Company in the transaction, was led by partners Craig Mills and Christopher Keefe.
