Akerman LLP, a top 100 U.S. law firm serving clients across the Americas, today announced that it has represented B/E Aerospace Inc., the world’s leading manufacturer of aircraft cabin interior products and of logistical services of aerospace fasteners and consumables, in its $145 million acquisition of Vision Oil Tools LLC, a leading oilfield services provider.
The deal expands B/E Aerospace’s recently launched oil and gas services business and provides it with a new geographical base of operations in the North Dakota and Rocky Mountain regions.
The team representing B/E Aerospace was led by Carl Roston, co-chair of the firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity Practice Group, and Mary Carroll, chair of Akerman’s Corporate Practice Group. The Akerman team also included partners Felicia Nowels, Sarah Campbell Smith and Susanne Zabloudil, as well as associate Julia Seider.
