O’Melveny & Myers LLP recently represented the International Olympic Committee in a long-term deal that awards broadcast rights for the Olympic Games to NBCUniversal. The deal encompasses broadcast rights across all media platforms, including free-to-air television, subscription television, Internet, and mobile from 2021 to 2032 and is valued at US$7.75 billion.
The O’Melveny team was led by partners Christopher Brearton and Joseph Calabrese.
