Paul, Weiss advised the Tencent internet company on their US$193m strategic investment in China South City Holdings, a logistics firm in China based in Shenzhen.
Tencent purchased 680.3m new shares in China South City, a Hong Kong listed company, representing approximately 9.9 percent of the enlarged share capital. Tencent also has an option to buy 244.8m additional shares at HK$3.50 each for an additional investment of US$110.5m.
The Paul, Weiss team advising Tencent included Jeanette Chan, Corinna Yu and Patrick Tan.
