Troutman Sanders LLP announced today that Harris Winsberg has joined the firm as a partner in the firm’s Bankruptcy practice in Atlanta. Winsberg is rejoining Troutman Sanders after spending the past four years at King & Spalding.
Winsberg has extensive experience in representing financial institutions and borrowers throughout the United States on a wide variety of matters, including corporate restructurings, workouts, and regulatory matters involving consumer protection laws. He also has significant experience on a variety of litigation matters, including those related to lender liability, alter ego liability and fraudulent conveyances.
“We are excited to welcome Harris back to Troutman Sanders,” said Bill Withrow, chair of the firm’s Litigation Department. “He has a great deal of experience representing both lenders and borrowers on complex transactions, and will add valuable bench strength to our Bankruptcy practice.”

Winsberg is very active in the bankruptcy law community. He is the current chair of the Loan Workouts and Bankruptcy Subcommittee of the Banking Law Section of the American Bar Association. He is also on the board of the Southeastern Bankruptcy Law Institute and a member of the 2013 Bankruptcy Law editorial board at Law360. Winsberg received his undergraduate and J.D. from the University of Florida.
