Dinsmore & Shohl is pleased to announce that Dennis R. Very has joined the firm as a Partner in the Pittsburgh office bringing with him a variety of oil and gas law experience as Chief Compliance Officer and Manager of Legal Affairs for Mountaineer Keystone LLC, an Appalachian basin oil and gas exploration and development company. While at Mountaineer Keystone, Mr. Very drafted, analyzed and negotiated agreements concerning the exploration and development of Mountaineer Keystone’s oil and gas interests including midstream, drilling, and service agreements. Mr. Very also developed and implemented a compliance program, managed risk, as well as presented on-site training programs.
Prior to his time at Mountaineer Keystone, Mr. Very practice at Pepper Hamilton LLP focused on complex commercial and bankruptcy litigation. He also worked as Outside Counsel for a number of clients. Mr. Very also practiced at DKW Law Group and worked for the Allegheny County Law Department earlier in his career.

Mr. Very earned his J.D., cum laude, from Duquesne University School of Law and his bachelor of business administration degree from the University of Notre Dame.
