Miller & Martin PLLC announced today that effective December 1, 2013, Randall B. Scoggins and Robert F. Goodman, Jr. will join the Atlanta office as Members, and Jonathan E. Smith will join as an Associate. Scoggins, Goodman and Smith will continue to practice in the area of commercial real estate.

Mr. Scoggins’ commercial real estate practice is focused on commercial leasing, investment, development and finance. His practice involves the purchase, development, leasing, sale and financing of office, retail and multi-family properties. He also represents developers in connection with land acquisition, development and sale. Mr. Scoggins received his J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law and his B.S. from Georgia Institute of Technology.
Mr. Goodman represents commercial real estate developers, investors, lenders and managers in a wide variety of transactions, including office, retail and industrial lease negotiations, property assemblages, acquisition, construction, permanent and mezzanine financing, sale-lease backs, 1031 exchange structuring and development of single use and multi-use commercial projects. Mr. Goodman received his J.D. from the University of Kentucky School of Law and his B.A. from the University of Kentucky.
Mr. Smith primarily represents landlords in the leasing and management of office buildings, office parks, retail centers and mixed use projects. He also represents developers of retail and industrial projects in various transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, development, construction and permanent financing, leasing and preparation of operating covenants and easements. Mr. Smith received his J.D. from Mercer University, Walter F. George School of Law and his B.A. from Washington & Lee University.
