White and Williams LLP is pleased to welcome Earl M. Forte as a partner located in the Philadelphia office. He will be a member of the General Commercial Litigation group as well as the Financial Restructuring and Bankruptcy group.
An industry leader, Forte comes to the firm from Blank Rome LLP. His recently published book, “The Fraudulent Transfer Handbook – A Practical Guide for Lawyers and Their Clients” takes a quarter century of experience and funnels it into concise, topical discussions which reveal a breadth of knowledge and a veteran’s approach to these complex matters. “Earl’s breadth of experience, that encompasses commercial litigation and bankruptcy, fits well with both our Commercial Litigation and Business departments,” said Guy Cellucci, Chair of the firm.
Forte has represented a variety of clients from numerous industries, including banking, oil and gas, health care, manufacturing, retail, real estate, mortgages, motor sports, aviation, power generation, and technology in complex business litigation cases for over 25 years. He has extensive experience practicing before various courts including federal district, bankruptcy and state courts around the country and works closely with restructuring and corporate lawyers in Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 bankruptcy cases. “Earl’s knowledge of the unique set of issues and challenges presented by bankruptcy trial and appellate work will further strengthen our group’s capabilities,” said Maulin Vidwans, Chair of the Business Department.
“We are delighted to have Earl join White and Williams,” said Patricia Santelle, Chair of the Commercial Litigation Department. “His experience in both general commercial litigation and bankruptcy matters enhances the corporate and litigation services we provide to our clients.”
