Lathrop & Gage announced today the addition of six attorneys to its intellectual property department of the Chicago office. Joining the firm are partners Allan Sternstein and Michael Stolarski, and associates Kyle DavisMichael GolensonTim Sendek and Macy Skulman.

Before joining Lathrop & Gage all were members of the intellectual property department at Dykema Gossett PLLC. Sternstein served as the national director of the Intellectual Property Department at the firm, and Stolarski served as the leader of the Intellectual Property Litigation Practice Group.

The addition of this team is a significant development for Lathrop & Gage’s Chicago office, which opened in July 2009. With the Dykema team, the office now has 18 lawyers with Chambers USA recognition in corporate, environmental and media/entertainment litigation. Meanwhile, Lathrop & Gage’s Intellectual Property Division grows to more than 90 dedicated professionals.

“Our new additions are top-shelf patent litigators who bring an extensive amount of intellectual property experience not only to our growing Chicago office, but also to our ever-expanding nationwide IP practice,” said Blaine Kimrey, partner in charge of the Chicago office.  “We are very excited to have these six attorneys join us and for them to serve as beacons for others interested in helping grow our Chicago office and our firm.”
