Allen Bachman Joins Gordon & Rees as a Partner in Washington, D.C. Office

Allen Bachman joined the Washington, D.C. office of Gordon & Rees as a partner in the firm’s Antitrust and Commercial Litigation practice groups.

Mr. Bachman advises clients on all aspects of antitrust, unfair competition, and consumer protection law.  He has represented Fortune 500 clients in landmark merger clearance decisions as well as multi-million dollar litigation proceedings, and he regularly represents clients in FTC, DOJ and state attorney general investigations.

As part of his practice, Mr. Bachman counsels clients regarding the impact that antirust laws have on their day-to-day business concerns, offering guidance on compliance programs, internal audits, marketing, sales and pricing practices as well as licensing, royalty and settlement agreements.

In addition to his antitrust practice, Mr. Bachman also represents clients in complex commercial litigation and arbitration proceedings including breach of contract, tortious interference, securities and other commercial litigation matters.

Prior to practicing law, Mr. Bachman served as an economic analyst for the US Department of Justice Antitrust Division.  Over the course of his career he has worked extensively with expert economists and accountants developing the testimony that is often needed to represent his clients’ interests in complex antitrust and commercial litigation matters.
