Dentons Canada LLP is pleased to announce that Jason A. Saltzman has joined the firm as a partner in the Toronto office Corporate Finance and Securities group. Previously, Jason practised as a partner with another major Canadian law firm.
Jason specializes in corporate finance, securities, M&A, private equity and venture capital, and his practice extends to a variety of industries and sectors, including mining, technology, cleantech, life sciences and financial services. Jason acts for issuers, investment dealers, investors, securities advisors and other market participants.
Jason has taken numerous companies public on various stock exchanges by way of IPO, reverse takeover, capital pool transactions and direct listings. Jason also has developed a strong corporate and commercial practice, and advises on share and asset transactions and other business combinations, limited partnership fund formation, joint venture agreements, licensing agreements and shareholder agreements.
Jason was recognized by Lexpert in its Canadian legal directory for corporate mid-market in 2013 and 2012, and as a Rising Star: Leading Lawyer Under 40 in 2009.
