Perkins Coie Represents Intermec in Successful Sale to Honeywell

Perkins Coie represented client Intermec Inc. (NYSE:IN) in its acquisition by Honeywell International Inc. (NYSE:HON) in an all-cash transaction valued at around $600 million.  The deal (announced in December 2012) closed on September 17, 2013. The completion of the acquisition follows its approval by Intermec shareholders on March 19, 2013, as well as the receipt of required regulatory approvals in the United States and European Union.

Intermec, a leading provider of mobile computing, radio frequency identification solutions (RFID), voice-enabled workflow and data-collection solutions, and printing solutions, will be integrated with Honeywell Scanning & Mobility, within the Automation and Control Solutions business.  Honeywell is a diversified technology and manufacturing leader, serving customers worldwide with aerospace products and services; control technologies for buildings, homes and industry; turbochargers; and performance materials.
