Fasken Martineau, a leading international business law and litigation firm, provided on-going post-completion support to Gate terminal which built the first LNG import terminal in the Netherlands with access to northwest Europe.
Gate terminal is located on the Maasvlakte in Rotterdam and is the first import terminal for liquefied natural gas (LNG) in the Netherlands.
The terminal has a throughput capacity of 12 billion m3 (bcm) per annum (rising to 16 bcm in the future) to meet the growing need for LNG in Europe.
