Polsinelli Expands National Corporate and Transactional Practice

Polsinelli welcomes attorney Patrick J. Henderson as a shareholder to its Corporate and Transactional Practice Group. Henderson serves clients in a variety of sectors including the motion picture exhibition industry. A leader in his field, Henderson was involved in assisting theatres across the country move from film to digital projection.

Henderson joins a national team of nearly 50 corporate lawyers representing thousands of businesses throughout the U.S. and aboard. The group works collaboratively on complicated merger and acquisitions in a variety of industries, working in concert with attorneys from the firm’s Tax, Corporate Finance, Securities and related practice groups.

Patrick Henderson has participated in significant transactions for privately held corporate, investment banking and venture capital clients, and has also assisted public companies in developing and implementing strategic acquisition plans, including the purchase and disposition of various portfolio companies.

Henderson also has substantial experience in licensing, branding, information technology, e-commerce and related agreements. In addition to his motion picture exhibition industry work, his experience includes representation of pharmaceutical, medical device and health care technology and insurance companies, specifically with regard to acquisitions, divestures, supply agreements, joint ventures and marketing and co-promotional agreements, as well as outsourcing and partnering transactions.

The firm was recently recognized as the fastest-growing law firm in America over the past five years by The American Lawyer and featured in the June 2013 issue. This year, the firm moved up to the 69th position from 78th in The National Law Journal’s ranking of the largest U.S.-based law firms.

Henderson earned his law degree from the University of Kansas School of Law in 1992, and earned his B.S.B.A. degree in Computer Science and Finance and Economics from Rockhurst University in 1986.
