Blank Rome LLP is pleased to announce that Laura E. Vendzules has joined the Firm as Partner in the Commercial Litigation group. She is based in the Firm’s Philadelphia office.

Ms. Vendzules joins Blank Rome from Dilworth Paxson where she was a partner and also served as co-chair of the hiring committee. As a member of Blank Rome’s Commercial Litigation group, she focuses her practice on commercial litigation matters, including derivative and class action cases. She has experience advising clients and litigating cases involving contract disputes, fraud and other business torts, director and officer liability, shareholder and partnership issues, special litigation committees, defamation and media law matters, and health care issues. She also specializes in matters arising under the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), as well as various state and federal laws relating to unfair and deceptive lending and consumer trade practices. Ms. Vendzules represents clients in all phases of civil litigation, including pre-trial, trial and appellate proceedings, in state and federal courts.
Ms. Vendzules is active with the Philadelphia Diversity Law Group, and previously served on the organization’s board of directors. In addition, Ms. Vendzules is a member of the American, Pennsylvania, and Philadelphia Bar Associations.
Admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, Ms. Vendzules received her J.D. from Rutgers School of Law – Camden, and her B.A., magna cum laude, from Rutgers University.
