Richard Dreitzer Joins Wilson Elser’s Las Vegas Office

National law firm Wilson Elser is pleased to announce that Richard Dreitzer, partner, has joined the firm’s Las Vegas office.

With more than two decades of experience, Mr. Dreitzer works primarily on labor and employment matters, but also has formidable general civil litigation and construction practices, representing general contractors, subcontractors and materials suppliers.

He has served as Justice of the Peace pro Tempore in the Las Vegas Township Justice Court since 2009 and as Board Counsel to the Nevada State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners since 2005. He also will become one of 15 members of the Board of Governors of the State Bar of Nevada later this month.

Prior to joining Wilson Elser, Mr. Dreitzer worked for both a national and regional law firm, as well as within the civil division of the Nevada Office of the Attorney General, where he advised numerous state agencies, including those in the labor and employment arena, on open meeting law issues, personnel matters, administrative law and regulatory matters.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University’s College of Industrial and Labor Relations and with his J.D. from Washington University School of Law.

Earlier this year, Wilson Elser’s Las Vegas office welcomed Christine Burkhart, partner, and James Tucker, of counsel.
