The Milan office of global law firm Eversheds has boosted its employment team with the appointment of Carnelutti Partner Valentina Pomares, who joins Eversheds as a Partner and co-head of the firm’s employment practice, alongside existing head Marcello Floris.
Valentina is joined by Associates Elsa Mora and Stefania Briganti who also join from Carnelutti.
Valentina has extensive experience in representing Italian and non-Italian clients in both contentious and non-contentious employment matters. She has particular expertise in issues arising from mergers and acquisitions as well as on other business restructurings, employment contracts, executive reward and compensation plans, compromise agreements and employee representation.
Valentina also provides day-to-day advice to businesses on a wide range of employment-related issues, advising on the procedures for hiring staff, individual or collective dismissals, exercising disciplinary powers, transfer of business and the transfer or secondment of employees.
