Linklaters Announces the Appointment of Bertrand Sénéchal as a Capital Markets Partner in Paris

Bertrand Sénéchal is highly experienced in the Paris market and brings enormous expertise in capital markets. He joins Linklaters from Shearman & Sterling where he has been a partner since 2005.

Bertrand focuses on equity, equity linked and debt capital markets transactions and has worked on numerous IPOs and other public offerings by French issuers. He has advised on most of the privatisations and other major capital markets transactions handled in Paris in recent years. He has also handled the French and US aspects of several high-yield and Yankee bonds transactions.

He has advised CEGEDIM on its high-yield notes offering in 2013, Danone and Schneider Electric on their inaugural Yankee bonds offerings in 2012, the underwriters on the rights offerings of GO Sport in 2012 and Theolia in 2010, on the IPO of INSIDE Secure in 2012 and on the projected IPO of Canal+ France in 2011 and 2012.

Bertrand graduated in 1990 from SciencesPo Paris, and he also holds a DESS in Business Law and a DJCE from the Université Paris II-Panthéon-Assas and a LL.M. in Business Law from New York University School of Law. Bertrand is a member of the Paris and New York bars.

He joins Linklaters on 2 September.
