WFW Strengthens Its Real Estate Team with the Appointment of Nikolaus Holzinger as New Partner

Watson, Farley & Williams (“WFW”), a leading international law firm, is pleased to announce that it has appointed Nikolaus Holzinger as a new real estate partner in its Munich office.

Nikolaus Holzinger joined WFW’s Munich office at the start of July and specializes in national and international real estate transactions, advising clients on the legal structuring of real estate investments.

Nikolaus was previously a senior in-house counsel at the well-known German fund and asset manager KGAL. He is a qualified real estate economist (IREBS) and a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Following Nikolaus’ appointment, the German real estate practice stands at 15 dedicated professionals who regularly advise on real estate transactions. In January 2013 the firm expanded the real estate practice after opening a new office in Frankfurt am Main, Germany and appointing Dr. Ivana Mikešić and her team. With Nikolaus Holzinger as a new partner, WFW is now also active in the real estate sector in Munich.

Nikolaus Holzinger commented: “The dynamic environment of Watson, Farley & Williams was particularly appealing. The inter-disciplinary and international approach of the practice offers excellent opportunities for new and interesting projects.”

Dr. Simon Preisenberger, Head of WFW’s Munich office, added: “We are delighted to have won a recognized real estate expert in Nikolaus Holzinger and with him are able to extend the service offerings of our Munich office.”

Lothar Wegener, Head of WFW Germany, said: “Nikolaus Holzinger is an experienced real estate lawyer, who through his expertise is an exceptional addition for our growing real estate practice.”
