Brown Rudnick LLP is pleased to announce that Tom Epps has joined the Firm as a Partner in the London office. Tom, formerly of Hickman and Rose, joins the Firm’s White Collar Practice.
Tom’s practice focuses on business crime and regulation, specialising in multi-jurisdictional fraud, corruption and cartel investigations. He has substantial experience in investigations brought by all the major UK enforcement agencies. Recent case work includes assisting in advising News Corp on various aspects of Operations Weeting and Elveden and advising clients in the current US/UK LIBOR investigation. He has also handled SFO and DOJ interviews of employees in relation to a number of US/UK corruption investigations and advised two former directors on a procurement fraud of over £1billion.
Tom is a former committee member and law reform officer for the London Criminal Courts Solicitors’ Association (LCCSA), and a member of the Association of Regulatory and Disciplinary Lawyers (ARDL) and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).
He has lectured to professional and commercial organisations including the British Bankers’ Association and has articles and comment published in legal and mainstream press, including the New Law Journal, the Times and the Wall Street Journal.
Tom has been named as a leader in the field in all of the main directories including Chambers & Partners, The Legal 500,Who’s Who Legal and Super Lawyers.
