Kelly L. Whitehart has joined the firm as Of Counsel in the Atlanta office where she will continue her practice in technology and intellectual property. Ms. Whitehart is the fourth attorney to join Miller & Martin’s Litigation Department since the beginning of this year.
Ms. Whitehart represents clients from a broad cross-section of technology industries, including software, telecommunications, energy resources, e-commerce and cloud computing applications. Over the course of her career, she has gained extensive experience at both the state and federal court levels in courts throughout the United States involving trade dress disputes, trademarks, copyrights, domain names, trade secrets, unfair competition and false advertising, as well as general commercial disputes.
“We are delighted to welcome Kelly to our team,” said Billy Eiselstein, Managing Member of the firm’s Atlanta office. “Kelly will add further depth to our existing capabilities and strengthen our ability to better serve our clients.” Ms. Whitehart received her J.D., with Honors, from Emory University School of Law in 2003 and a B.A., with Honors, from The University of North Carolina in 2000. Ms. Whitehart was with Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP before joining Miller & Martin.
